Dangle earrings with pearls

Last week, I made this beautiful chain maille sterling silver bracelet with pearls. And since I like to wear jewelries in pairs, I had to make something matching for this bracelet. Usually, I make earrings as a pair to a bracelet :) So... I came up with this sterling silver dangle earrings design. This pearl earrings are really easy to make, and I'd like to share entire process.

First, I made one link as I made it for the bracelet and closed the "cage" with small jump rings

Then, I attached one pearl bead on a pin to the lower jump ring...

... and a beautiful long ear wire to the upper one.

The earrings are ready! I took me around 30 minutes to make them.

  8. When it comes to earrings, women love them to be very eye catching and gorgeous. And if we talk about eye catching, dangle earrings are one of the top choices of women because they surely catch attention as these long earrings dangle in your ears.

  9. Hi, These and the bracelet they go with are just beautiful. I've read through your very well-written tutorial on making them and have only one question. How much larger does the jump ring have to be than the pearl. For instance, if I use 8mm pearls, will a 9mm jump ring do or would I be better off with a 10mm? I am really looking forward to making these, so I'll really appreciate your answer.

  11. IrinaN, thank you so much for your tutorials! These have been very well received, and very popular.
Dorothy, I'd love to know how your 8mm project went. I've been having some issues getting the right gauge and size so that it's not too big. I've made quite a few of these in the 6mm size, and not quite as many in the 8mm. The first one I made was in 4mm, and that turned out well, too. It's been awhile, and I just need to make sure I have the right size jumprings for the pearls.
